Samsara- new collection from Matt & Nat

Just when you thought they couldn't do it any hotter, any hipper, and any more sophisticate/fly/veganess...Matt & Nat designer Inder Bedi launches Samsara. Oh wait...there's more. It's less expensive that the papa collection and $1 from each sale goes to charity. OK...you go check out the site while I sit here and decide which one is calling me the most.

LOVING these headbands from Bambako. This brand new collection was designed by recent college grad Abigail Ricarte in order to get through an awkward growing out phase. As you can see, I had a hard time choosing my favorites but you can find yours here at fantastic (read: recession friendly) prices.

I'm so glad Angela reminded me about these. Great boots huh? Welllll...they're actually non slip fabric bands that dress up your boots. Designers Erica and Tamar handcraft these cute as ever bands to be adjustable for any style boots. I love that one small item can create so many different looks. Check out The 2 Bandits here.

Leigh & Luca

Andrea blogged Leigh & Luca some time ago and I immediately saved them to my favorites. I love the fresh hues and bold prints. Leigh & Luca is a small collection of scarves from designers and friends Gillian Leigh and Susann Luca. Aside from the gorgeous colors, I adore that these ladies have designed/redesigned just one item and I'm still captivated. The cute little lady helps too!

Alexandra Cassaniti

I found Alexandra in my inbox today via Daily Candy. This artist creates limited edition and "sometimes one of a kind" accessories that are loaded with personality. Alexandra's collections are entitled summer one and two because in her world 'it's always summer somewhere'...my kind of girl! Most of summer one is sold out but I'm jonesing for the tote bag and pencil case in summer two. Check them out here.

Everything is printed onto linen or cotton, made in the U.S., and pretty adorable to boot. California based Yaling Hou is based in California and applies her nature inspired prints to this easy going collection. That cute little bag is fully lined and all of $66.

iWood

iWood has taken one of my favorite accessories to another level with their wooden sunglasses.
Using eco-sustainable wood veneers, iWood sunglasses are crafted individually in limited quantities each year. I love that they have taken a material whose quality usually only translates in furniture and made something wearable. Ok...and they're hot to boot. Most styles are available in multi finishes including zebrawood, tigerwood, teak, and madagascar ebony.

styles featured here are available at Saks

Miss Bruno

Scarves deserve more credit. Whether slinky, chunky, or lightweight they take me through three seasons; I think that's enough wear to consider myself slightly attached to my growing collection of scarves. I was immediately hooked when Marjory emailed me about Miss Bruno; a sweet collection that offers a renewed look at the scarf using recycled materials. Each style is handmade to order and features trims like leather and lace as well as beautiful pairings of materials. Sure your new coat may get less attention now, but your neck deserves a little special treatment now and then. Check out the shop here to see the full collection.

English Retreads

Would you believe these bags are made from inner tubes....and not just your average inner tube but ones that are supplied by local truck stops after about 60,000 miles on them. How's that for re-invention? As a vegetarian, designer Heather English thought her options were limited when looking for durable handbags. Her necessity turned into a collection of bags and small accessories. Check out the collection here.

Eley Kishimoto

Mark Eley & Wakako Kishimoto introduced themselves in the early 90's with a reputation for incredible print design. After displaying their work on the catwalks through Loius Vuitton and Alexander McQueen, they launched a womenswear collection. It's certainly not hard to see why they're still called upon to design textiles for everything from interior design to cars; these guys are masters of print & pattern. The collection is broad, and includes lifestyle items like fabrics, glassware, and wallpaper. All of which are fabulous indeed.
