Sally Bee
I usually don't do tees, but in the spirit of the season I thought this might make a great gift. Sally Smith designs these unique tees using a silkscreen process; many styles are often layered with stitching or applique. I love that the designs are intricate and individual; making each one seem special. The collection can be purchased here.

Kaia
I see that it's finally getting a bit colder next week; not quite cold enough to complain but cold enough to have an adorable mini scarf adorning ones neck. Accessory designer Eyoko Robinson makes these "scarflets" using a mohair/wool blend and each features a sweet brooch. I think they're quite the catch...pick one up for yourself here or see the Kaia collection here.

We Dream in Colour
The We Dream in Colour collection draws from a very unique sensability. Artist Jade Gedeon, raised in Trinidad and residing currently in Australia, applies her vast cultural exposure to her work. Many pieces have a beautiful patina to them, creating an instant story as though they have traveled the world before reaching you. Indeed they may have....purchase through stars + infinite darkness or here.

Madison Marcus
New brand on the block Madison Marcus is actually super duo Kristina Aquino and Jessica Sturnam. Combining their talent and experience, they've created a tightly woven collection of fabulous pieces. Shapes are reminiscent of the eighties with a dose of femme innocence; super skinny bottoms , floaty tops, and a touch of frill.

Grace & Cello
I'm glad that there is a new wave of eco friendly designers making fashion forward garments. Who needs to wear crocs and hemp sacks to make a stand. Montreal based Grace & Cello creates their collection using organic materials including cotton, wool and bamboo. The pieces are easy to wear, understandable to a wide audience, and best of all...fashionable. Take a look at the full collection here.

Buji Bijoux
Rena posted on these new pieces in the shop by Buji Bijoux and I had to share. I've always had a penchant for filigree, especially earrings and BB really takes them up another notch. To me filigree is so much about pattern, but using a spiral technique these pieces have a very organic, imperfect feel. See the collection here and purchase from Rare Device.

Fighting Eel
The LA folks have it right...comfortable clothing, flip flops, and a downright breezy style. Darn them. Although born in Hawaii, Fighting Eel taps into this very aesthetic with their lightweight dresses and tunics that are all about comfort. Check out the collection here, or at Jane's Closet.

Fancy Jewels
Thought I would stop being selfish and put something up for the men. Seattle based Sally Brock creates Fancy Jewels for men and women with her signature anything-but-traditional style. The sytle above is from the "bad songs" collection (anyone else have a bad flashback of their guy doing the robot?). Other styles include bears and anchors, so remember Fancy Jewels for the stylish guy on your list.

Jalda
I'm a big fan of Jalda's clutches, luxurious pieces in small packaging. Born in the Netherlands, Jalda now lives in LA where each style is designed and hand made. She also makes very cool utility style bags for women who need to truck around their lap tops in a more stylish manner. View the entire collection here.

Jenni Kayne
Jenni Kayne designs with a particular purpose in mind " ageless collections for women who live in their clothing". Her Fall 2006 collection showcased her theory with luxurious pieces that can easily stand alone; standout details included pleated silk, voluminous coats, and saturated color.
