Ann Chen

Love the juxtaposition of clean and modern with tattered in this collection by Ann Chen. Ann's collection of organic tops was influenced by Bruce Lee's quote "Don't get set into one form, adapt it and build your own, and let it grow. Be like water." Each piece is moldable and can be worn many ways... 'it can look however you covet'. You can purchase at Stars.

You'll want to buy everything from her Etsy shop but if you're on a tight budget snag a printed bandana for $18 or a limited edition tee for $30.

Emily Elizabeth Jewelry

Adorably nostalic and simple pieces from Emily Elizabeth Jewelry. I used to eat crackers by the boxload when I was younger and yes that's what made me post this...but the prices can't be beat.Emily's pieces are made using brass, gold plate, and 14k gold fill to creat modern, feminine pieces. See her site here and get these items and more at Stars.

Stephanie Simek

I love these really unique pieces from artist Stephanie Simek. Stephanie takes advantage of small collection by making each piece a layered work in itself. My favorites are the Quail Egg necklace lined in 23k gold leaf, and the powder necklace (below) which is filled with silver-colored powder that sprinkles a light dusting on the wearers chest...it even has a mini funnel. Just darling! And by the way...most of Stephanie's pieces are very affordable...really!

Yoana Baraschi

I thought you guys might enjoy this visual pick-me-up from designer Yoana Baraschi. I love that the collection is fun, colorful, and an instant wardrobe refresher. Check out the rest here.

Emily Katz- Fall 2008

You may remember when I fell for the Emily Katz "perfect trench" before...well she's upped and done it again with the "Wow Rain Jacket". Love the detail and very pretty shape, the non-raincoat color is great too. The collection is made from organic/sustainable fabrics as well. Seriously...is it me or does everyone want that rain coat??

Elroy Apparel

Elroy Apparel by BC based Leanne McElroy is a stunning addition to the world of eco friendly fashion. Leanne noticed that as organic began to spread into apparel there was a wealth of choices in yoga/casual pieces with less options for fashion forward items. As a strict vegan herself, Rachel launched her collection in Fall 2007 designing sophisticated streetwear for the contemporary health conscious woman. I am in love with nearly every single piece so you should check out this collection for yourself here.

Mignonette is a small Brooklyn-made collection with a line of adorable vintage style dresses from size 0-16. Check them out here.

Etsy Find- Tortilla Girl

(don't you love her logo?)
With the resurgence of the tote bag, I've been loving the prints and variety. My only problem is...I'm a new york girl...a flat bag the size of a book just won't do for me. I was glad to find Tortilla Girl on etsy with her "Big City Linen Bag". Love the texture, print, and the hold everything shape. Really well priced at $68 and made to order.

Jack & Marjorie- Fall 2008

These guys sure know how to make recycled military materials look good.
