I've got my eye on the Graduate Bracelet. I could see myself wearing it everyday.

Gold Chains (Mr. T style) have had a resurgence on the scene this year, but finally someone understands that rockin' earrings are way cooler! Not to mention, you can dress up or down! Love um!

I love my collation earrings, and all my dirty librarian chains- Susan has a fantastic and graceful style about her that shines through in her jewelry. It is finely crafted and I highly recommend everyone pick up a piece or two! You won't be sorry!

Dirty Librarian Chains - I think it's the pefect mix of devil in the details vintage treasures, classic beauty, design simplicity and over-the-top rock and roll flamboyance. You can't go wrong.

When you wear a piece, it's like daring people not to notice.

I love the look of multistrand necklaces. My favorite is definitely the abstract chain - the leaf charm is totally unexpected.

When I look at your work I can just imagine you sifting through old balled up and knotted pieces of jewelry at estate sales and small town thrift stores..... it is all so very romantic!

This line is so perfect for an edgy daily desker. I wouldn't mind being chained to the copier so long as I was wearing the Collation earrings - super hot, but still work wearable.

Plus, the library names appeal to my inner dorkdum and make me think of hours spent riffling through a maple and brass card catalog.

I think you are professional ladies' jewelry angel.

I will wear them in a box.
I will wear them with a fox.
I will wear them in a boat.
I will wear them with a goat.
I will wear them here or there.
I will wear them anywhere.
I sure do like your WHOLE
collection, might I mention.

Susan is my friend and girl crush. She already made me a badass necklace for my wedding, but now I'm a mom and she needs me to rock these earrings in the mom crowd. As to the design of these earrings - fierce! I love you.

Give me the TITLE, I mean "title ring". It's sizzlin'.

The earrings pictured are the H-O-T D-L-C gold standard. Simple turns of chain that the Librarian is so well known for. I need the jingle jangle in my life for sure. Something monstrous to layer? Hmm. Something to make 'em think. Something to make a clink. I'm headed towards the clever unifying elements of Dissertation but I got stuck on Call Number.

It is so hard to choose, but I really adore the Renewal Necklace! It would really add some interest to a simple jersey dress!!

Somehow while I was moving cross-country I lost the Dirty Librarian necklace I had gotten as my graduation present, and I've been pining over it ever since. It seems to have been discontinued, but it was like a simpler version of your Tracings necklace, and I wore it EVERYWHERE and to EVERYTHING... The earrings couldn't replace the void in my jewelry box, but they might come close. :)

oooooh I love this!! I love so many of them. I really like the chunky necklaces like the card catalog ones, and the abstract one is very nice as well. Although right now I'm really wanting rings so I loooove subject ring. I will have to show this site to my boyfriend, and maybe he'll get me something. ;)

Seriously difficult to decide! So rather than gushing about EVERYTHING, seriously, I'll narrow it down a little. I love, love the Source Bracelet. I'm not even a bracelet person, but this one will definitely have me changing my ways. I can just imagine a light tinkley sound following me everywhere, but not in a fairy kind of way, more like in a you're going to want to lock me up I'm so awesome kind of way. Anyway, also I must profess my love for the Abstract. It's like a scribble around your neck with just enough sweet details to keep you looking for more. The brightness of maple leaf and the subtle sheen of the tiny pearl (I am way too full of adjectives apparently) are superb when paired with the viney links of gold (also I wax poetic, sorry about that).

And in conclusion. Dirty Librarian Chains, it seems I adore you.

Susan Domelsmith is probably the most creative jewelry designer in the known universe. I can't put on her creations, but they look stunning on whoever wears them. We should consider ourselves lucky to be living in the Dirty Librarian Chains Era!

If i were wearing the collation earrings, would my powers of collation improve? Could I collate this random list: translucency, abacus, 1967, triskaidekaphobic, pancreas, .000123, oatmeal?

I'm amazed at the variety of the multi-chain necklaces. I love the intensity of Call Number. That necklace is simply a work of art. The rest of the collection is fabulous: elegant, striking and beautiful. I really dig this collection and especially those earrings.

Catherine in Chains

for a moment he keeps his beer at arms length, pushing the ashtray back and forth, and stretching his feet. a commotion that asks the fille to come over and see if he wants another. which he doesn't, because he can see the parking lot emptying through the west window and knows that he should shove off. before he leaves he looks at the green north wall and sees his ex. it takes him a minute to recognize her; she's dyed her hair since they last saw each other. and the same word goes through his head again that's been there all day: carnation. chameleons that change their color and their skin with every day, and his whole vessel is that of a carnation, change. they don't choose to change, they just do. they can't help it and they can't control it and they are at these moments completely aware of their subservience to god and to their nature. he stretches his feet again. he doesn't go up and say hello to his ex. because we don't have the power to choose what we are. but he thinks it might be fun, all the same, to build a castle of things that start with her name in the kitchen tomorrow. Chairs. Cauliflowers. Carbines. Chamoiseaux. Chanel is bleary-eyed by my bedside trying to convince me how bad she wants those earrings.

I must say that I am absolutely enthralled by the whole collection. I am a Librarian myself [maybe a little Dirty too :-)]. I love the style and wearability of the pieces. The names of them are just great too. I like to think that I am a far cry from the high-collared, hair-pinned, shushing librarian of the past and so are these pieces. I think my favorite is “Source.” I love the layers an complexity.

I want to stay gold with drippy chain letter perfection that likely improve hearing, make for happy ears, make the girls swoons, make the men fall, head over heels, ears over eyes...sweet collation, I will pay for you in compliments received - luxury would dangle close to my cheek and distract from winter tears as lonesome hibernation encroaches... I'm falling fast, falling for the gold with a heartfelt sigh, as once again, the unreachable dangles right in front of me.

all of the rings are amazing! usually the innovations are in necklaces or earrings, but the title ring and the subject ring are some of the most beautiful and creative pieces of jewellery i've seen!
