Gr. Dano

This is exactly what I meant when I said designers can take a current item and bring it to another level. If this isn't one of the lovliest takes on a pea coat then I don't know what is! Designers Jill Giordano and Brian Scheyer incorporated their respective fields of fashion and graphic design to create Gr. Dano. The collection is designed for the professional gal who needs a little more ooomph in her suit. Structual details are plentiful but still easily wearable.

absolutely adore it. The white is crisp and textural it really matches with the structure of the coat. I love the extra details that add something different and make you take a second look.

mmmmm.....delicious. I left my beautiful coat on a plane last year and I think that this might be the replacement. Esp. since here in Marrakech, it never gets too cold.

Adorable! The design is a sharp amalgam of quintessentially classic, clean lines and the softness of the rounded funnel neck and overlap. The retro inspired quilting of the fabric is absolutely charming. I was instantly reminded of the stellar coats designed by Mackage (www.mackage.com). Their Fall/Winter line for this year hasn't been posted yet, but last year's is a great indicator of things to come. I bought my first Mackage coat from that collection, and I can honestly say that it is my favourite piece of clothing, ever.

You're so right about Mackage, I'm familiar with them from the trade shows and their collection always makes me want to run off with everything! I'll cover their fall collection soon.
